I've been making moving pictures since 1996 and professionally since 2009. I've followed many strange paths that have taken me to even stranger places, but telling compelling stories using film and design has been the unifying motivation for every place I've been.

Ultimately, I communicate. Whether that's through stories, songs, pictures, or movies all art is communication. By the same token, all good communication ought to come from the same place art does. The storyteller around the ancient campfire is not much different from communicators today. Though our tools are different, the goal remains the same.

Instead of rocks and firelight, I'm fortunate to have powerful tools like the Adobe Creative Suite. I'm well versed in over half the programs offered in the suite. And, instead of painting a picture with words (which I still enjoy doing), I can paint my pictures with powerful cameras like the C300 or the Sony FS-700.

At the end of the day, regardless of the tool, my greatest joy is seeing my work make an impact. Whether it's completely changing somebody's mind on a controversial topic (like pineapple on pizza) or just helping someone understand a difficult concept (like options trading), the power of media to reach people's minds and hearts is the reason I do what I do.
